Expert Stored Product Pest Control You Can Trust
Stored product pests are a commercial problem before they are a domestic one. Weevils, grain beetles and stored product moths arrive inside incoming stock, then establish in spillage under racking, in the seams of bulk bins and in the residue nobody can reach behind fixed equipment.
For a bakery, food manufacturer, warehouse or restaurant this becomes an audit issue very quickly. Our programs combine incoming-stock inspection, pheromone monitoring, targeted treatment and the documentation your auditor expects to see.
- Thorough inspection & fixed-price quote
- Targeted, safe and effective treatment
- Prevention advice to stop it returning
- Follow-up and 6-month warranty included
What We Treat
Our licensed technicians are trained across every variety you're likely to encounter in Sydney.

Rice Weevil
Develops inside whole grain kernels, so infested stock looks completely normal until adults chew their way out.

Confused Flour Beetle
A major pest of flour and milled products, tainting product with a distinctive odour well before it is visibly infested.

Sawtoothed Grain Beetle
Flat enough to penetrate sealed packaging, which is why it spreads so effectively through a dry store.

Indian Meal Moth
The most common stored product moth, webbing dry goods together and moving readily between pallets and shelving.

Cigarette Beetle
Attacks spices, dried herbs, tobacco, pet food and pharmaceuticals, and is a persistent problem in spice and dry-goods storage.

Warehouse Beetle
A dermestid whose larval hairs contaminate product and can cause gastric irritation, making it a serious food-safety concern.
Know the Warning Signs
Spotting the problem early makes treatment faster, easier and far less costly.
Live Insects in Product
Beetles, weevils or moths in flour, grain, rice, spices, nuts, pet food or bulk dry goods on receipt or in storage.
Webbing Between Pallets
Silken webbing across bag seams, between stacked pallets and in the corners of bulk bins and silos.
Spillage Under Racking
Accumulated product spillage beneath racking, behind equipment and in floor joints, which is where populations actually establish.
Small Holes in Packaging
Neat exit holes in bags, cartons and sacks, or fine dust and frass collecting beneath stacked stock.
Rising Pheromone Trap Counts
A climbing catch on monitoring traps, which gives early warning weeks before a problem is visible in product.
Musty or Tainted Product
Off odours and taint in flour and milled goods, often the first thing production staff notice.

Why Stored Product Pest Control Can't Wait
Direct Stock Write-Off
Infested stock cannot be sold or used, and a single contaminated pallet can force the disposal of an entire batch.
Audit and Certification Failure
Stored product pests in a dry store are a critical non-conformance in HACCP and retailer audits, with immediate commercial consequences.
Customer Complaints and Recalls
Insects found in finished product by a customer creates a complaint, potentially a recall, and lasting reputational damage.
Populations Persist in the Building
Because they breed in spillage and equipment residue, these pests survive stock rotation and reinfest every new delivery.
A Simple, Proven 4-Step Process
Transparent from the first call to the final follow-up.

We assess the property, identify the pest, locate harbourage and entry points, and confirm the extent of the problem.

Stored Product Pest Control Questions, Answered
Everything you need to know before you book. Still unsure? Call us — we're happy to help.
Get a Free QuoteHow much does stored product pest control cost?
These programs are quoted after a site inspection rather than from a price list, because scope varies enormously between a small bakery and a distribution warehouse. Pricing reflects the size of the dry store, the number of monitoring points, service frequency and the documentation required. You receive a fixed written proposal setting out the program before it starts.
How do these pests get into a sealed dry store?
Usually inside incoming stock. Eggs and larvae are already in flour, grain, spices or pet food when it arrives, which is why inspection at goods-in is such a valuable control. Some species, particularly the sawtoothed grain beetle, are also flat enough to penetrate sealed packaging from outside once a population is established.
What is pheromone monitoring and why does it matter?
Species-specific pheromone traps attract and capture adult insects, giving you a numerical trend rather than a yes-or-no answer. A rising catch tells us a population is building weeks before anything is visible in product, and the trap location narrows down where. Auditors also expect to see monitoring records, so it serves two purposes.
Will you need to shut down production?
In most cases no. Programs are built around your production schedule, with treatment carried out during shutdown periods, weekends or planned cleaning windows. Where a heavier intervention is needed we plan it with you well in advance so it lines up with a scheduled clean or maintenance shutdown rather than costing you unplanned downtime.
Do you provide documentation for audits?
Yes, and it is a core part of the service. You receive a site plan with numbered monitoring and treatment points, a service report for every visit, trend data from the pheromone monitoring, product safety data sheets and our licence and insurance details. That is the pack HACCP, SQF and retailer audits ask for, kept current after each service.
Do you treat domestic pantries too?
Yes, although for a home kitchen the right service is usually our pantry moth treatment, which is scoped and priced for a domestic pantry. This program is built for commercial dry stores, bakeries, warehouses and food manufacturers where monitoring, documentation and audit compliance are part of what you need.
