Get a Free QuoteHow much does mosquito control cost?
Mosquito treatments start from $119 with a fixed quote given before we begin. Price depends on the size of the yard and how much dense vegetation, water feature or wetland edge needs treating. The quote covers the residual application, breeding-site treatment and advice on keeping numbers down.
How long does the treatment last?
A residual treatment typically gives several weeks of relief, depending on rainfall and how much shaded vegetation you have. Heavy rain shortens it. For properties near wetland, mangrove or lagoon edges we recommend a seasonal program with repeat visits through the warmer months rather than a single treatment.
Is it safe for the garden and pets?
Yes. We apply registered, low-toxicity products to the shaded foliage, fence lines and under-deck areas where mosquitoes rest during the day, not across lawns, vegetable beds or pet areas. Your technician gives clear re-entry advice on the day and flags anything worth covering before we start.
Will it get rid of every mosquito?
It dramatically reduces activity rather than eliminating every mosquito, because adults keep flying in from neighbouring properties and public land. Results last far longer when standing water is removed: pot plant saucers, blocked gutters, bird baths, buckets and pool covers. We identify breeding points on site and treat what we can.
When is the best time to treat?
Spring through autumn delivers the strongest results, with an early spring treatment knocking numbers down before breeding accelerates. In Sydney the peak runs from roughly October to April, and humid summers on the coast extend it. Treating before an outdoor event works best with about a week's notice.
Do you treat breeding sites?
Yes. Treating resting foliage alone only manages the adults, so we identify breeding points as part of the program: pot plant saucers, blocked gutters, pit drains, water features, pool covers and any container holding water for more than a week. We treat what we can and advise on the rest.
