Expert Bird Control You Can Trust
Bird control is fundamentally different from every other pest service, because the answer is almost never a treatment. It is exclusion - physically denying access to the ledge, cavity or roof space the birds have chosen, in a way that is humane, discreet and durable.
Australian native birds are protected under the Biodiversity Conservation Act, and that shapes what can lawfully be done. We work within it, focusing on proofing, deterrence and nest management, and we are straight with you about what the law does and does not allow on your property.

How We Exclude Birds
Bird control is an exclusion job, not a spraying job. We match the method to the building and the species.
Bird Netting
Heavy-duty tensioned net that seals courtyards, atriums, loading docks and roof plant from access entirely. The most complete solution available.
Anti-Roosting Spikes
Discreet stainless spikes along parapets, ledges, signage and gutter lines that make landing impossible without harming the bird.
Post and Wire Systems
A low-visibility tensioned wire deterrent for heritage facades and ledges where appearance genuinely matters.
Solar Panel Proofing
Mesh skirting clipped around panel edges to stop pigeons and mynas nesting in the warm cavity underneath - a very common Sydney problem.
Roof and Eave Sealing
Closing broken tiles, open eaves, vents and gaps that let birds into roof voids and wall cavities to nest.
Nest Removal and Sanitising
Safe removal of accumulated nesting material and droppings, followed by disinfection and treatment for bird mites and associated pests.
Know the Warning Signs
Catching a bird problem early keeps it to proofing rather than proofing plus a full clean-up.
Droppings on Paths and Signage
Accumulating droppings below ledges, over entrances, on outdoor seating and across signage, creating a slip hazard and a poor impression.
Nesting Material in Gutters
Twigs, straw and debris blocking gutters, box gutters and downpipes, which is a leading cause of water overflowing into ceilings.
Noise in the Roof Void
Scratching, cooing and chick noise in eaves, roof spaces and wall cavities, particularly early in the morning.
Birds Under Solar Panels
Pigeons and mynas moving in and out beneath panel edges, with droppings and nesting debris building up on the roof below.
Bird Mites Indoors
Tiny biting mites appearing in bedrooms and living areas after a nest is abandoned, often mistaken for fleas or bed bugs.
Blocked Vents and Flues
Nesting material packed into exhaust vents, flues and air intakes, which is both a fire risk and a ventilation failure.

Why Bird Control Can't Wait
Serious Health Risk
Bird droppings carry pathogens including psittacosis, salmonella and cryptococcus, and dried droppings become an airborne hazard.
Corrosion and Building Damage
Droppings are acidic and progressively damage paintwork, render, metal roofing, signage and vehicles parked beneath.
Blocked Drainage and Water Ingress
Nesting debris in gutters and box gutters is one of the most common causes of ceiling water damage in Sydney commercial buildings.
Secondary Pest Infestations
Nests bring bird mites, fleas, carpet beetles and clothes moths into the roof void, which then move down into living areas.

Transparent from the first call to the final follow-up.

We assess the property, identify the pest, locate harbourage and entry points, and confirm the extent of the problem.

Bird Control Questions, Answered

Get a Free QuoteHow much does bird control cost?
Bird control is always quoted after a site inspection rather than from a price list, because the work is physical installation and no two buildings are the same. A short run of spikes on a residential gutter line is modest. Netting an entire commercial atrium or courtyard is a significant install. You receive a fixed written quote with a scope before anything begins.
Is bird control humane and legal?
Yes on both counts, and it is a serious point. Australian native birds are protected under the Biodiversity Conservation Act, so our work is exclusion and deterrence rather than harm. Netting, spikes, wire systems and proofing simply make a location unavailable. We will tell you plainly if something you have asked for is not lawful, and offer what is.
Which birds cause the most problems in Sydney?
Feral pigeons by a wide margin, followed by Indian mynas, starlings and house sparrows - all introduced species. Native birds such as ibis, seagulls, lorikeets and magpies also cause issues, but they are protected, so the approach is exclusion and habitat modification rather than removal. Correct identification determines what we can lawfully do.
Can you stop birds nesting under my solar panels?
Yes, and it is one of our most requested jobs. The cavity beneath a panel is warm, sheltered and completely protected, which pigeons and mynas find ideal. We clear the existing nesting material, sanitise the roof surface, then clip a purpose-made mesh skirt around the panel edges. It is invisible from the ground and does not affect panel output or void panel warranties.
Do you clean up the droppings and nests as well?
Yes. Removal and sanitising is part of a proper bird job, not an optional extra. Accumulated droppings and nesting material are removed under appropriate protective equipment, the area is disinfected, and we treat for bird mites and other pests the nest has been supporting. Proofing without cleaning simply seals the problem in.
How long does bird proofing last?
Properly specified and installed, netting and spike systems last many years - typically ten or more for stainless spikes and quality UV-stabilised netting. Installation quality is what determines it. We use marine-grade fixings on coastal properties, and our installation work carries a workmanship warranty confirmed in writing with your quote.
