OVERVIEW

Expert Fly Control You Can Trust

Flies are the pest most likely to cost a Sydney food business its reputation, and the one most often treated in exactly the wrong way. Knocking down the adults in a room does nothing while the breeding source keeps producing hundreds more every day.

Our approach starts with finding where they are actually breeding - a blocked floor waste, a forgotten bin store, a dead possum in a wall cavity - then combines source removal, residual treatment of resting surfaces and, where appropriate, discreet light traps.

  • Thorough inspection & fixed-price quote
  • Targeted, safe and effective treatment
  • Prevention advice to stop it returning
  • Follow-up and 6-month warranty included

SPECIES WE TREAT

What We Treat

Our licensed technicians are trained across every variety you're likely to encounter in Sydney.

House Fly

House Fly

The classic pest fly, breeding in bins, compost and animal waste, and capable of moving pathogens from those materials straight onto food.

Bush Fly

Bush Fly

The persistent face-landing fly of a Sydney summer, blown in from open country and breeding in animal dung rather than household waste.

Blow Fly

Blow Fly

Large metallic green or blue flies that breed in carrion. A sudden indoor swarm usually means a dead rodent or bird in a roof void or wall.

Vinegar Fly

Vinegar Fly

The tiny hovering flies around fruit bowls, bar mats and drink dispensers, breeding in fermenting residue in places that look perfectly clean.

Drain Fly

Drain Fly

Small, moth-like and fuzzy, breeding in the organic film inside floor wastes, drains and grease traps, and a reliable sign of a plumbing issue.

Cluster Fly

Cluster Fly

Overwinters in roof voids and wall cavities in large numbers, then appears at windows in numbers that alarm homeowners each spring.

SIGNS OF AN INFESTATION

Know the Warning Signs

Spotting the problem early makes treatment faster, easier and far less costly.

Persistent Indoor Flies

Flies present day after day regardless of screens and doors point to a breeding source inside or immediately outside the building.

Dark Speck Marks

Small dark spots on light fittings, ceilings, windows and menus where flies rest and defecate, and a common health-inspection finding.

Maggots Near Waste

Larvae in or around bins, floor wastes or a bin store confirm active breeding on site rather than flies drifting in from elsewhere.

Clouds Around Drains

Small flies rising from a floor waste or sink when it is used indicate breeding in the organic slime lining the pipe.

Sudden Indoor Swarm

A large number of blow flies appearing in one room usually means a dead animal in the roof void, wall cavity or sub-floor.

Flies at Windows in Spring

Sluggish flies collecting on sunny window panes as the weather warms is the classic sign of an overwintering cluster fly population.

WHY IT MATTERS

Why Fly Control Can't Wait

01

Direct Food Contamination

Flies feed on waste and carrion, then land on food and preparation surfaces, transferring salmonella, E. coli and campylobacter directly.

02

Compliance and Reputation

Fly activity and speck marks are among the first things a food-safety auditor records, and a single customer complaint can be very costly.

03

Rapid Breeding Cycle

A house fly can go from egg to adult in about a week in Sydney summer conditions, so a small problem escalates alarmingly fast.

04

A Symptom of Something Worse

A sudden fly problem frequently reveals an underlying issue - a dead rodent, a failed drain or a bin area that needs redesigning.

How much does fly control cost?

Residential fly treatments start from $89 with a fixed quote confirmed before work begins. Commercial kitchens, cafes and food premises are quoted on inspection because the scope varies so much: the number of entry points, whether light traps are required, drain treatment, and how often you need us back. Ongoing programs for food businesses are priced per service visit.

Why do the flies keep coming back after spraying?

Because spraying kills the adults in the room and leaves the breeding source untouched. One blocked floor waste or an unwashed bin can produce hundreds of new flies every day, which is why the problem returns within a week. Lasting control always comes from finding and eliminating the source, then treating the surfaces flies rest on.

Can you find where they are breeding?

Yes, and that is the most valuable part of the job. We inspect drains, floor wastes, grease traps, bin stores, roof voids, sub-floors and wall cavities. A sudden blow fly problem almost always leads to a dead rodent or bird, and we locate and remove it. You receive a written report setting out what we found and what needs to change.

Do you install fly light traps for commercial kitchens?

Yes. We specify and install commercial-grade light traps positioned away from food preparation areas and out of sight of customers, then service them on a schedule and log every visit. The catch trays also give us useful data, because a change in the species being caught often tells us a new breeding source has opened up.

Are the treatments safe around food areas?

Yes. We use APVMA-registered products selected for food premises, applied to resting surfaces rather than anywhere food contacts, and we schedule work outside trading hours. Your technician confirms re-entry times and which surfaces to wipe down before service resumes, and you receive documentation suitable for your food-safety records.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes. General fly treatments carry a 6-month warranty for residential properties. If covered activity returns inside that period we return and re-treat at no charge. Commercial programs are covered by a service agreement instead, with agreed response times between scheduled visits, usually same or next day for food premises.
