Get a Free QuoteHow much does possum removal cost?
Possum removal and proofing starts from $179 with a fixed quote. Cost depends on how the possum is getting in and how much proofing the roofline needs. The quote covers humane removal, the one-way exit, and sealing the entry points. Major roof or timber repairs are quoted separately.
Is the removal humane and legal?
Yes. Possums are protected native wildlife in NSW, and it is illegal to harm them or relocate them far from where they were found. We work strictly within those rules, using humane one-way exits and releasing on the same property, then proofing so the animal settles elsewhere nearby.
Will it come back?
Not once the entry points are properly sealed, which is included in our program. Possums are strongly territorial about a roost, so removal without proofing simply invites the same animal or the next one straight back in. We seal the gaps and, where useful, suggest a nest box as an alternative roost.
Do you repair the entry points?
We seal and proof the access points possums use: broken tiles, lifted roof sheets, gaps at the fascia and eaves, and overhanging branches that give roof access. Structural or roofing repairs beyond proofing are quoted separately so you can see exactly what is pest work and what is building work.
How long does it take?
Most jobs resolve within a short program: an inspection, a one-way exit fitted at the active entry point, then a return visit to confirm the possum has left and seal up. That usually spans a few days to a couple of weeks, because we must be certain no young are still inside.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. Our possum proofing is backed by a workmanship warranty covering the entry points we have sealed. If a possum gets back in through proofed work within the warranty period we return and fix it at no charge. New damage elsewhere on the roof is assessed and quoted separately.
