Cockroach Control
Fast, lasting cockroach extermination for kitchens, bathrooms and commercial sites.
Large modern homes and master-planned estates from Baulkham Hills out to Rouse Hill and The Ponds — big roof voids, new landscaping and freshly disturbed soil, which pests notice.
Real, verified feedback from people we've helped — straight from Google.
The Hills has a pest profile that catches new owners off guard, because almost everything here is recent. Seventeen suburbs between roughly 20 and 34 km north-west of the city, spread across The Hills Shire with parts falling into Blacktown City and the City of Parramatta, and dominated by large double-storey family homes, house-and-land estates and townhouse complexes.
People assume new means pest-free. It is often the opposite. Estate development clears bushland and turns over soil, which displaces established termite and rodent populations into whatever is built next. Fresh landscaping brings in mulch, new turf and irrigation. Big homes mean big roof voids and complex rooflines with plenty of junctions, boxed gutters and eave gaps for rodents and birds to exploit. And alfresco areas, outdoor kitchens and pergolas put food, water and timber right against the building.
The other half of the district is the older and semi-rural fringe — Winston Hills, Northmead, North Rocks, Constitution Hill and the acreage edges out towards the Cattai Creek corridor — where established gardens and mature trees produce a more traditional spider, possum and rodent picture.
We quote on what is actually there: a four-bedroom house in Kellyville Ridge is a bigger job than a townhouse at Stanhope Gardens, and the price is fixed before we start.
We run The Hills alongside the Blacktown and Parramatta corridors, so despite the distance from the city, attendance here is usually same or next day.
Technicians cover the Castle Hill, Kellyville, Rouse Hill and Baulkham Hills corridor daily — most Hills jobs are attended same or next day.
Cleared and disturbed estate soils carry real termite pressure. We inspect, and we install and service baiting systems and barriers to Australian Standard.
Double-storey homes with big roof voids, complex rooflines and alfresco areas need a proper scope rather than a quick spray. We price for the whole property.

What we find on Hills properties, and why new build does not mean low risk.
Construction is the dominant force in this district and it cuts both ways. Every new release — through Rouse Hill, The Ponds, Box Hill's edge, Beaumont Hills and North Kellyville — clears vegetation and turns soil, and that displaces whatever was living there into the nearest standing structure. We see a reliable spike in ant, spider and rodent calls in streets adjacent to active sites.
The homes themselves then provide the harbourage. Large double-storey builds have expansive roof voids that stay undisturbed for years, complex rooflines with plenty of junctions and eave gaps, and cavity brickwork that gives ants and spiders a sheltered run. Alfresco kitchens, pergolas and outdoor dining put food residue and water against the external wall, and new landscaping adds mulch beds and irrigation on top of that.
The retail and recreation centres concentrate the commercial pressure: Rouse Hill Town Centre, Castle Mall and the Castle Hill centre, Stanhope Village, Glenwood Village, Winston Hills Mall, The North Village, Beaumont Village and North Rocks Shopping Centre. The golf and sport grounds — Castle Hill Country Club, Muirfield Golf Course, Bernie Mullane Sports Complex, Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope — add irrigated turf that keeps ants moving all summer.
On the fringe, Bidjigal Reserve, Rouse Hill Regional Park and the Cattai Creek corridor bring genuine bushland pressure — possums, spiders and termites — to the properties that back onto them.

General pest control starts from $89, but be realistic about the housing here: a double-storey four or five-bedroom home with a large roof void, alfresco area and landscaped garden is a bigger job than the entry price covers, and most Hills houses quote above it. Townhouses and smaller homes sit closer to the base rate.
Termite inspections start from $159. On newer estate homes we will also check whether the builder's termite management system — barrier or baiting — is still intact and still being serviced, because a surprising number are not.
Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Kellyville, Bella Vista, Rouse Hill, Glenwood and The Ponds make up most of our Hills work, with Winston Hills and North Rocks steady on the older-home side.

Four features of Hills properties account for most of what we are called out to here.
Clearing and excavation displaces established termite, ant and rodent populations into the homes already standing nearby — and the pressure continues until the site settles.
Outdoor kitchens, pergolas and dining areas put food residue, water and timber directly against the external wall, which ants and cockroaches find quickly.
Estates built on cleared land inherit the termite colonies that were already in that soil, and reactive clay adds movement that can crack a barrier.
Large roof voids, multiple junctions, boxed gutters and eave gaps give rodents and birds entry points that a simple roof does not have.

Termite pressure here is shaped by new estates edged by acreage and remnant bushland — what that means for the timber in The Hills District homes, and what we actually check.
The Hills is the district where we most often hear 'the house is new, so we don't need to worry about termites' — and it is the district where that assumption costs the most.
New estates are built on cleared land, and clearing does not remove the termite colonies already working in that soil. It removes their food source, which pushes them to look for a new one. The new one is the house. On top of that, the reactive clay soils common through the north-west shrink and swell with the seasons, and that movement can open cracks in a chemical soil barrier that looked perfect at handover.
Every new home in NSW is built with a termite management system — a barrier, a baiting system, or physical protection — and the builder is required to leave a durable notice recording it. The part owners miss is that these systems need inspection and, for baiting and chemical barriers, ongoing service. We regularly inspect five and ten-year-old estate homes where nobody has looked at the system since the day it was installed.
Our inspections start from $159 and include the sub-floor or slab edge, the roof void where accessible, the garden, alfresco structures, retaining walls, fences and sheds, with a written report. If you have the durable notice, have it handy — it tells us what you are actually working with.
We assess the property, identify the pest, locate harbourage and entry points, and confirm the extent of the problem.
You receive a clear, fixed-price plan scoped to your property — no guesswork and no hidden costs.

Get a Free QuoteYes, and this district is the clearest example of why. Estates are built on cleared land where colonies already existed, and reactive clay soils can crack a chemical barrier over time. Builder-installed barriers and baiting systems also need ongoing inspection and service, which many owners never arrange after handover. An annual inspection from $159 is cheap compared with what gets missed.
Because Hills homes are large. The $89 entry price suits an apartment or small home. A double-storey four or five-bedroom house with a big roof void, alfresco area and landscaped garden takes considerably longer to inspect and treat properly. We scope it, give you a fixed price, and you decide before any work starts.
Because clearing and excavation destroys existing nests and the populations relocate to the nearest standing buildings. It is one of the most predictable patterns in this district. Treating early — exterior perimeter plus entry points — is far easier than waiting until they are established indoors, and the pressure continues while the site is active.
It is the record your builder is required to leave showing what termite management system was installed in the home — usually in the meter box or under the kitchen sink. It tells us whether you have a chemical barrier, a baiting system or physical protection, which determines what we inspect and what maintenance is due. If you cannot find it, we will work it out from the building itself.
Yes. We work from individual owner bookings or directly with strata and building managers for complex-wide programs. In townhouse developments, shared walls, roof spaces and common bin areas mean treating a single unit often will not hold, so a coordinated approach usually works out better value per home.
Yes — the properties backing onto Bidjigal Reserve, Rouse Hill Regional Park and the Cattai Creek corridor, and the larger blocks on the district edge. Those carry a more traditional bushland profile: possums and rodents in roof voids, spiders in the garden, and higher termite pressure from nearby bushland timber.
